What is BCTNotes?
We are the platform that provides students and teachers with an organized and efficient way to access and share study materials. Our aim is to make it easy for users to find the information they need by organizing materials by semester and subject.
Our ranking algorithm is designed to surface the most useful materials. And other features such as syllabus and old question bank, favorite notes, and direct addition of learning time to a calendar help students make the most of their study time.
In addition, our discussion channel over Discord provides a comprehensive solution to support students' learning needs and help build a community of learners.
We are committed to providing a collaborative and innovative learning environment for students and teachers alike.

- Nginx Reverse Proxy: Manages incoming requests, routing them securely to the NestJS app.
- Message Queue (Bull MQ): Handles asynchronous tasks like email sending and DB backups without blocking core flows.
- Docker: Containerizes the application for consistent deployment across environments.

- Centralized logging for structured, real-time insights into application behavior and performance.
- Sentry: Error tracking, performance monitoring, and alerting to catch issues early and notify teams via Slack/email.

- Google Analytics: Tracks user interactions and behavior on the frontend for data-driven insights.
